Metallic epoxy floors, poured & worked by hand
Seamless feature floors with depth, movement and veining for basements, theatre rooms, salons, barbershops, retail stores and showrooms across the GTA and Southern Ontario.
What a metallic epoxy floor is
A metallic floor is a clear epoxy loaded with fine metallic and pearl pigments. It’s poured over a tinted base coat, then spread, rolled and worked by hand so the pigment moves and settles into veining, swirls and depth.
The result looks like poured stone, marble or liquid metal, with no seams or grout lines. It’s sealed under a clear topcoat in gloss or satin, so it cleans like any coated floor.
- One-of-a-kind finish, built from colours you choose with us
- Seamless: nothing for dirt, hair or spills to collect in
- Bright and reflective, so rooms feel bigger and lighter
- Clear topcoat for abrasion resistance and easy cleaning
- Anti-slip additive or satin finish where floors get wet
- Installed over diamond-ground, repaired concrete
How a metallic feature floor is built
Metallic floors look poured-in-one, but they’re a system. Getting the prep and base right is what keeps the finish clear and bonded under daily customer traffic.
Where metallic floors work best
Metallic is a feature finish. It shines indoors, out of direct sun, where people will see the floor and appreciate it.
Basements and theatre rooms
A finished basement with a floor that’s a talking point. Installed over a moisture vapour barrier where the slab needs one.
Barbershops and salons
Hair sweeps straight off, colour and chemicals wipe up, and the floor becomes part of your brand.
Retail and dispensaries
A seamless, high-impact floor that stands up to daily foot traffic and looks good in photos.
Showrooms
High gloss that makes vehicles and products the centre of attention.
Offices and studios
A modern finish over plain concrete, with no carpet or tile to replace later.
Kitchens and living areas
Seamless and easy to clean, in colours chosen to suit the room.

Metallic or flake?
Both are seamless resin floors over the same prep. The difference is what you want the floor to do.
- Choose metallic for a statement interior floor: basements, theatre rooms, salons, retail and showrooms.
- Choose flake for garages and high-wear areas, where texture hides dirt and grit and the floor gets salt, hot tires and sun.
- Not sure? We bring samples of both to the site visit.
Metallic epoxy questions
How much does a metallic epoxy floor cost?
It depends on the size of the space, the condition of the concrete and how many colours go into the design. Metallic takes more labour than a flake floor because every square foot is worked by hand. We measure, test the slab and send a written quote after a free site visit.
Can you match my brand or room colours?
Yes. Metallic floors are built from a tinted base coat plus accent pigments. We make sample boards with you so you can see the colours together before anything is poured.
Will my floor look like the photos?
It will be in the same family, but no two metallic floors are identical. The movement and veining come from how the material is worked on the day, which is why we agree on colours, direction and the level of movement with you first.
Is metallic epoxy slippery?
A high-gloss metallic floor is smooth, like any polished surface. For commercial spaces, entrances and anywhere that gets wet, we add a fine anti-slip additive to the clear topcoat or use a satin finish.
Can metallic epoxy go in a garage?
It can, but garages are hard on any decorative finish: hot tires, road salt and sunlight through the door. For garages we usually recommend a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat over the metallic, or a flake system if durability matters more than the look.
How long does a metallic floor take to install?
Most residential and small commercial metallic floors take two to four days: grinding and repair, primer and base coat, the metallic pour, then the clear topcoat. Light foot traffic is usually fine about 24 hours after the last coat.
Can you put metallic epoxy over tile or an old coating?
Usually the tile or failing coating has to come off first. We grind down to sound concrete so the system bonds into the slab, not into an old layer that can let go.
